Overcoming The World Through Faith In Jesus Christ

Greetings in the blessed name of Jesus our Lord. I wish to encourage you to focus upon the old, old story of how Christ came from glory and gave his life to save us from a wretched life of sin. It is because of his death that we are overcomers and as such, we have victory over the world through our faith. Faith is the victory over the world. I John 5:4 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world over our faith." When we are saved we are given a measure of faith and the power of Christ. It is with this power that we can and do overcome. Ovcrcoming means to live a sinless life "unspotted from the World." James 1:27. We must continuously recognize Satan as a deceiver and a constant adversary to Christian life and health. John 16:33 says...In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. What is the world? A place that Satan controls and God does not dwell. A place that constantlv challenges saints to "stay out of or away from." A place that promises good things but ends in eternal damnation for the soul. In conclusion, "Be ye steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord..." I. Cor. 15:58. May God richly bless you and heaven smile upon you.
